So we were really pleased at all the water we have collected this rainy season. All the water tanks for the three houses were full to the brim. We would have so much water, that we were already planning ways to use some of the water for dry season gardening and how to turn a tank into a swimming pool. That all ended this morning, when my dad and husband discovered that one of the large tanks holding 10,000 litres had split open in the night. It not only split open but tore the pipe out of the connecting tank and emptied an additional 10,000 litres.
The good news is that one of the houses still has two tanks of water and the second house has one tank of water. The third house has all 30,000 litres.
The bad news is that the second house isn't directly connected to the remaining tank of water and that is the house we are living in presently. So my dear dad and my dear husband have a huge job to do in redirecting the water from this tank to the second house.
We were planning on moving into the third house anyways so the kids and I started that today. Life is always interesting in Gesses and everyday we actually NEED to rely on our heavenly Father for wisdom, joy and strength ... want to come?
