A delightful month

 

A month of wonder and friendship. A month of sunshine and rain. A month of conveniences and controlled indoor temperatures. A month filled with experiences that are so “normal” for most North American families but an extra delight for us. Learning to play baseball, bike rides, playgrounds, travelling without carsickness, and clean bathrooms.

                                  Sharing life in Gesses from a child's point of view.

 

 Birthday parties with friends, time with grandparents, cousins, neighbours.  Attending VBS, Bible camp, church and family gatherings.  Building sandcastles, swimming, canoeing, buckets of ice cream, boxes of popsicles, barbecues, incredible churches, incredible people who pray for us and our children.

 And so much fun on the water.  Learning to swim, canoe, paddleboat and even kayak.  Joel with his little sister. 

These days will end all too soon but we will treasure this summer for the next two years and feel blessed.
