It seems the list of things to do is still so long and with farewells and some daily living mixed in, it is a struggle to truly finish all the tasks at hand. We will face many more goodbyes tomorrow - at church, at an extended family gathering faspa (supper) and with siblings. This is what I struggle with most - leaving relationships. It is only with the Lord's strength that we can intentionally leave our loved ones behind. But we are called to share the message of salvation with those who have not had the chance to hear it. It is still hard. Pray that we would be strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Kalia (our almost 9 year old) and I discussed again why we are leaving after singing the song "All for Jesus" at bedtime. I told her that it was good for me to sing this song because it reminded me that our life on earth is to be lived all for him. It is good to have a nice home and friends but if we live for ourselves, will God say, "Well done Kruses?" Kalia was quick to answer with a no. What if we leave it behind to follow Him? What will He say then? Kalia answered with a smile. "He will be happy." This is for Jesus....all for Jesus.
