A Quick Update via EXPENSIVE Phone Call

After arriving safely in Addis Ababa, jet lag for Ange and the three youngest has been awful, resulting in a 2 am breakfast and the previous night being wide awake from midnight to 6 am.
Kalia loves the smells of Addis Ababa.  She also enjoyed an evening visit with 7 year old Emily Schwenk before the family left for Gesses.
Joel has been loving the injera with shiro except the huge amount of butter and oil made him sick for 24 hours.
Ariana loves all the pets on the compound where they're staying, puppies and tortoises.
Nadia is struggling with adjusting to powdered milk so she's been eating dry cereal.  Tomorrow they intend on searching for chocolate syrup in hopes that she'll drink it once it's "chocolified".
Sonia is very cheerful and always dirty from crawling on the cement floor.
Rolf has been keeping very busy running errands and is also waiting for his Ethiopian driver's license to come through.
Ange has enjoyed visiting with Steve and Doretha and their kids on Friday, Pete and Blain and their son for Saturday lunch and Nathan and Richelle for supper.  She is waiting for communication lines to improve, as they currently have no email or internet access and aren't likely to until Monday.
