A Creative Homeschool Room

Nicole has done a fabulous job of making our homeschool room useful and beautiful.  Barry and Rolf continue to add features to the room as they are able.  One of the projects was adding shutters to the windows.  Barry made 2 shutters and Rolf made one and they figured out it took 5 hours per shutter.  Limited tools and materials is the main reason for this and they had to improvise in several ways.
The children sit at locally made desks and each have a place to call their own.  Each section of wall is painted a different color and is marked with a different subject.  The kindergarten corner is where Ariana and Jonas spend their time.  All of the children enjoy the reading corner and at different times, they work at reading a certain number of books in order to get a movie/pizza night.  Once everyone has completed their allotted number, we all celebrate.

Actually the children enjoy the homeschool room so much that many afternoons they are found back at their desks creating something.
