The children have thoroughly enjoyed making 2 lapbooks there first semester at school. The first lapbook they made was a history lapbook. They studied Ancient Egypt and then put the information into little books which were then attached to a file folder. Joel said it was a lot of work writing so much but when it was done, they were so proud of how it looked!

The second lapbook was after studying a unit in Science on Weather. They enjoyed studying on clouds, water cycle, hurricanes and wrote out interesting facts about weather. Of course they enjoyed drawing pictures too.

Great jobs, Kalia and Joel! I would love to see those in 'real life'... maybe you will still have them when Grandma and Grandpa come to visit sometime...Love, Grandma
