Week of teaching/hosting

Thank you for praying specifically for Rolf to get some prep done this week.  By God’s grace and some super boundaries put in place (ie Rolf found an isolated place to study each afternoon so that I could tell people he was away).  He also got in several hours of study each morning with some interruptions.  Some of those interruptions were almost unbelievable (more on this in a different entry).

Though the thought of teaching 7 hours a day for 5 days in Amharic, is quite overwhelming, Rolf does feel prepared with his material.  So this is where prayer comes in.  He has done his part studying, praying and preparing.  Now he needs the Lord to prepare the hearts of the 15 church leaders who come to the training.  He needs the Lord to give him a quick tongue, ears that hear and the power of the Holy Spirit to speak through His word.  Thank you for praying!

The kids and I are looking forward to a week of hosting 6 people from our North team this week.  They will be helping in numerous ways from sorting through all the stored stuff on this station to maintenance.   My kids are ready with LOTS of tales to tell and I am looking forward to some adult conversation in English (other than with my dear husband)!
