SIM has a motto that says "By Prayer" and it is a motto we have come to see as vital to the success of any ministry. There are times we forget to “enquire of the Lord” and we usually regret it. It is not that our decisions go badly each time we forget to bring it to our Father in heaven, but rather it is failure to include him in our lives. He desires a relationship and for that to happen, we must invite him into each area of our life. And He truly does care because we are His children.
We are hopeful that the medical/building team will come in just a few days but there are always things that can keep something good from actually happening. And so I ask again that you would pray.
Pray that the Dr and nurse and their spouses would be able to get the transportation that they need. Pray for their safe travel and that the 6 days they have with us would bring healing to many and that the Gumuz would come to faith because of the love they are shown and the physical help they receive.
And pray for the Easter celebration that is being planned for this coming weekend. Rolf had an amazing turnout this afternoon and they were enthusiastic with their practicing! PTL. The majority of Gumuz are nonliterate and so we are praying that by dramatizing the Easter story, they will more fully grasp who Jesus is and what He has done for us.
