Wildlife in our backyard

In the past month, our children have had the opportunity to observe wildlife and farmlife in our backyard. They see goats, chickens, donkeys and lots of Nile-Sahara dogs. Bats live in our roof and chameleons make appearances in nearby trees. The children have learned where scorpions live and are careful in moving rocks or other spots scorpions might hide. They have also seen centipedes (poisonous) and millipedes. Life may not be quite as safe as in Canada but it is certainly interesting. In the meantime, our children are learning to be careful, observant and aware of the Lord's watch care over our family.
