Rolf and I had the privilege of attending a food production course in North Carolina a year ago. We are hoping to encourage the Gumuz to produce food more efficiently. Beekeeping is one of those possibilities. Rolf and Demis have set up a beehive in one of Demis’ fields.
Rolf and Joel also joined Demis’ family in harvesting millet. They store it up on a shelter so that animals don’t eat it before they are able to thresh and store the grain in their homes.
