Thank you for praying. Things have settled somewhat though the situation is not yet solved. A peace talk has taken place (not initiated by the actual clans) but without the Lord at the centre, it is a very fragile agreement. So do continue to pray that many Gumuz would turn to God and understand the great sacrifice Jesus made for the forgiveness of sins.
Yesterday we saw God’s hand of protection on our neighbour’s son (also the head elder). He fell from the top of a tall tree and landed on his face. He was swollen and full of scratches but he had no broken bones and no concussion. He hit some pieces of wood but missed all the large and small boulders. It is a miracle that he was not severely injured and so we praise God.
