We can foresee that for the next year there will be hands on projects for Rolf and Barry to work on in their spare time. There are also times when they can really focus on a project. This is one of those weeks. It is time to harvest sorghum and so the men Rolf has been working with each morning are occupied with this presently.
Meanwhile, for the past couple of days, Rolf and Barry have been working each morning and some afternoons at building our front porch. Our house had 3 cement steps at the front door and our roof already had enough overhang to do this project. Now it has a porch running the length of the front of our house (which is the short end) and the width is about 5 feet. I will post pictures in a few weeks but the plan is for ½ of this porch to become a room for Kalia and Nadia and the other half of the porch for visiting (or treating those that come to our front door).
The hope is that this project will be done by Christmas so that we can move 2 little girls out of our roomJ
