We had a good (4.5 hour) drive up to Bahir Dar today. We left at 9:30 and arrived at 2pm (with a nice 1/2 hour lunch break in the middle). Lots of carsick kids but no one threw up! We stopped in Injebara, where our friends live (though they were in Addis) and the kids ran off some energy. We enjoyed our picnic lunch and then it was time to go.
After dropping Ramonda off at the airport, we drove to the Coleman's house where we will stay this weekend. We enjoyed supper together and had a bonfire outside in the evening. The weather is lovely. It is fairly warm during the day but cools off nicely at night so it will be a nice break from the Gesses heat.
