After a conflict among the Gumuz, all the men are seen carrying their bow and arrows wherever they go. It is also much quieter than usual. Men are on guard as this is conflict between men and women aren’t the target. Men who may be in danger, hide out in the bush.
So far no further incidents have taken place but the problem still exists. Until the Gumuz understand the message of reconciliation, they cannot be reconciled to each other. Pray that as they come to faith, they will be able to stop the feuding by the power of the Holy Spirit that lives in them.
