Thank you for praying. The Lord confirmed to us that it would be best for Rolf to drive to Injebara yesterday to give our ID cards to SIM missionary friends. He had a quick supper and left at 5:30pm arriving at 8:30pm. Because of the women's meeting this morning, Rolf needed to be back in Dibate by 7:30 this morning to bring Askale.
The kids and I had a wonderful evening with Ramonda. (We hardly noticed that Rolf was gone and the kids enjoyed lots of stories by "Auntie" Ramonda.)
Rolf left at 4am this morning to return to Gesses and made it to Dibate by 7am, picked up Askale and brought her to Gesses.
The Lord answered our prayers and 18 women came to the teaching time. It was a beautiful time of teaching and fellowship. The women listened well, laughed together and evenly openly answered different questions Ramonda asked.
The lesson was on God's love and what our response is to our family and neighbours as a result of this love.
The women all decided they wanted more teaching and so they have asked if Ramonda can speak again on Thursday morning. Keep on praying!
Tomorrow Ramonda will help with homeschooling and then we hope to have some one on one time together. She is truly a kindred spirit and we could spend hours together. The kids though are LOVING time with an auntie and are thriving under her attention and love.
