We are so thankful to be home again. It was a good trip with lots of stops to serve people along the way. By the end there were 12 of us in our vehicle along with 5 sacks of flour. There were no buses running today because they had all been hired for the dozen or more weddings taking place.
During our 2 day absence, the Gumuz started burning the grass and we arrived in a smoky haze. As well, we met Demis who didn't look well. He said there had been a big conflict yesterday and two people died. We didn't get all the specifics but it involved someone important.
Pray for wisdom for the believers who are involved in this conflict and pray that we might be an encouragement to them. Pray for the spirit of revenge to end and that it would be replaced by love and peace that only comes from above.
