Rolf has spent the past 3 days working with a couple of Ethiopians on building walls from steel tubing. Rolf purchased 3 inch tubing and cut it to size. He designed the walls and laid them out while one of the men welded the pieces together. Another man built 3 doors from steel and those are being bolted into the steel frames.
The last man doesn't have any specific skills and relies on running errands for missionaries for his income. He was happy to paint the steel framed walls with anti-rust paint. After the walls are finished, plywood will be attached to them.

I am amazed to see Rolf enjoy each aspect of life in Ethiopia. He seems to thrive (as long as he sees progress) in all his many roles. He is flexible, has a great attitude in less than ideal scenarios and knows what he is doing. He is enjoying the mix of discipling and teaching and getting his hands dirty.
