On Friday, the Coleman family arrived and we had our weekly supper and prayer time together with the Schwenks. The children discoverd that our orphan lamb has an orphan sibling which was being rejected by all the female sheep. It was looking very scrawny so we ended up “adopting” it as well.
I am not an animal lover but my children are and so we decided to care for these baby lambs for a few days until they were stronger. Two baby lambs are actually very cute. Once you have fed it once, it follows you everywhere. Since Kalia was the primary caregiver, the two lambs attached themselves to her. But for most of the day, Emily, Amy & Abby were over playing with the lambs. It was a busy back porch!
