Every day for the past 2 weeks, the weather has been sunny. Basically we can expect clear skies and sun for the next 4-5 months with temperatures rising from the present 30C (mid 80F) to 40C (100F+). Thankfully in this present month, the nights cool off to mid 20C (77F).
And guess what? The word for day and sun is the same in the Gumuz language. There is good reason for this!! Today there is sun. Oka oka dawit.
