And some exciting news. Rolf and Barry were able to spend the majority of this week building and as of today, the walls are complete and the inside plywood painted in beautiful colors. The children all helped paint yesterday afternoon and each wall is a different color – orange, purple, yellow, green, pink and blue. It will be a fun place to call school! All that is remaining is screen for the windows and some rat proofing (wire mesh in some openings by the roof). Later a ceiling may be added and some shutters for the windows but we will start having some classes in the one room schoolroom on Monday!
Well done Barry & Rolf ... thanks for all your hard work. And when Rolf goes to Addis next, I will be sure to post lots of pictures!
