While the Colemans were visiting Gesses, they took us to a swimming area they used to wade in. Much of the sand has been dug out leaving a fairly large hole (about chest deep on Kalia). The kids enjoyed an hour of swimming. The water was running into the hole from a flowing creek and then down into several smaller swimming holes.
We may not return for another swimming experience as the water will soon stop running and become stagnant. It was however a beautiful spot and a place the children will be sure to enjoy exploring again sometime.
